Bermondsey Folk Festival 2018 – A Walk With Comedian Arthur Smith

Join us for a walk with famous comedian Arthur Smith who will delight everyone taking part in this exploration of Bermondsey, ‘proper’ 🙂

The walk will last about an hour on our way to the main stage at Market Place. Remember, this walk could be funny so you’ve been warned!

Meet us at  the Queen Victoria Pub (Yes, you may go inside and relax in this lovely pub; the tour starts at midday)

Bermondsey Folk Festival 2018

From small beginnings we are starting to flourish as a calendar event in the London Folk Scene and we have the headline acts in the main stage to prove it: Martin Carthy, Lisa Knapp, Circulus, and The Arfur Doo & The Toerags at The Blue Anchor Pub

More music and entertainment

More than just good music

In addition to the main music line up, there will be Irish and Morris Dancing on the square and the unmissable walk with local famous comedian Arthur Smith (RSVP Bermondsey Folk Festival 2018 Walk with Arthur Smith)

Food and drinks

There will be Partizan beer stall plus The Old Bank Beer on Tap in the square plus many cafes, pubs and The Blue Market street food stalls to satisfy your cravings

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the Bermondsey Folk Festival 2018 A Walk With Arthur Smith event?

We don’t need tickets but if you register it is extremely helpful for event planning and planning of future events.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Everyone is welcome, obviously all minors need to be accompanied at all times.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The Queen Victoria Pub is only a few minutes away from Market Place.

All the venues taking part in the Bermondsey Folk Festival are within a short distance on foot from Bermondsey undergroung station (Jubilee). Other nearby stations are Canada Water (Jubilee line and overground), Surrey Quays (overground) and South Bermondsey Network Rail Station

Buses 1, 381 and P12 all have stops in Southwark Park Road

We do not recommend the use of private cars.

Do I have to register for the other events in the Bermondsey Folk Festival 2018?

No need, however it is extremely helpful to us to know numbers for good planning of this event and future ones

Can I attend without registration?

Of course you can.

The main stage is an open space but we really appreciate if you can register as it helps us to organise next year’s event.
